ECU Alert Program

The alert software is made available to the public to enable the quick communication of University alerts. The University will not be responsible for any conflicts or problems that may be incurred as a result of downloading this software.

To install the ECU Alert program, follow these steps. You may want to print these instructions before downloading the software.

1. If you have a previous version of ECU Alert, you should remove it. You can remove the software using the "Add/Remove Programs" icon in Control Panel.
2. Download the software. (Located on the left side) 
3. Select the 'Run this program from its current location' option and click the OK button.
4. Click the YES button on the 'Do you want to install and run "install.exe from www.ecu.edu"?' screen.
5. Click the Setup button.
6. Click the OK button on the 'ECU Alert Setup' screen.
7. Click the large button under 'Begin the installation by clicking the button below.'.
8. Click the Continue button on the 'ECU Alert - Choose Program Group' menu.
9. Click the Continue button on the 'ECU Alert - Choose Program Group' menu.
10. Click the OK button after the installation has completed.

The ECU Alert program is available from the Programs - ECUITC and Programs - StartUp menus.
